Henry Owers
Circa 2008Henry (Under 16 player) has proved invaluable in supporting all the junior colts players through the Sunday afternoon indoor winter pre-season training sessions. He has organised inter club sides and administered a mini league tournament for the various age groups. Always looking to help and advise our younger players, he has proved a great source of encouragement and knowledge to them.
Henry was a regular member of both u15 and u16 sides last year as well as making important contributions for the senior sides later in the summer. Although highly regarded and extremely effective as a reliable pace bowler, Henry would often contribute with the bat too and has a safe pair of hands. Safe hands came to the forefront on a Friday evening too, when Henry would be found with many of his peer group, encouraging and supporting the Under 11s to develop their skills. Never one to dash away after training Henry often remains to continue to foster the excellent bonds being built throughout the club at all age groups.
