Shenfield Cricket Club

George is a very keen cricketer who seeks every opportunity to play or practise, and is often seen around the club watching/seeking inspiration. In 2008 he represented the club in the district representative side. He scored his first 50 for the U13 team in 2010, and this season, aged 14, with a string of fine junior colt’s performances earned himself a spot opening the batting for the senior mens' 4th XI team. He duly replied by scoring his first 50 in senior cricket. His application and effort have made him a very popular nomination from players, parents and coaches.
£200 grant will be used for new equipment: Single Fielding Stumps - Incrediballs - bowling machine balls.
