Membership Registration
Registration for membership to Shenfield CC is now open.
TEAMO - This year we will be managing all payments and organisation of cricket activity through the Teamo app. Through the app you will be able to see all club events, fixtures and training details, register for the new season, pay membership and match fees and keep in touch with team managers and captains etc.
If you are not already on Teamo with the club then you will need to do the following:-
If you have any problems with Teamo, or you are already registered on Teamo for another club, please message Will Bowden -Message Will Bowden – who can assist.
Membership Fee (payable via Teamo): The membership fee (which includes social membership for parents/guardians) is £100 (£50 for Y11/GCSEs). The club will provide a £20 sibling discount in the form of a £20 voucher (for each additional child) that can be used in the Clubhouse (we will distribute vouchers when the season starts).
Coaching Schedule
Preparations are well under way for the summer training for our Shenfield CC Juniors. This year training will take place on Thursday and Fridays with each age group staying on their relevant training day for the entire summer (see table below).
New Head Coach – we will have a new Head Coach to organise all of Shenfield CC training and I will let you know all about them in the next few weeks when we have made the appointment.
A reminder that all Junior members when attending training and matches should be dressed appropriately in cricket clothing - preferably the Shenfield Cricket Club kit - which can be purchased here . As a minimum on match days we expect every player to be in whites (with the exception of U13 girls who wear blue) and wearing a Shenfield CC cap.
Date for your diary – the End of Season Presentations will take place on Friday 6th September
**Training Times can be found via each Teams page and on your TEAMO calendar**
Without prior permission from the Youth Chairman Juniors may only train with their own age group.
FRIDAY 6th SEPTEMBER – END OF SEASON PRESENTATION EVENING
All Stars Cricket
We will hopefully also be arranging a Saturday morning All Stars cricket course for 5/6 year olds (usually 8 sessions for 45 minutes in May/June). More details on this to follow.
Age Group Teams and Matches
This season we have teams at every age group from U17 down to U7 in the Central Essex District. We will also have several teams playing in the Essex wide Cricket Competitions; U19s playing in the Ravi Bopara T20, U16s in the Trevor Bailey Matchplay, the U14s in the Sir Alistair Cook T20 and the U12s in the Brian Taylor Trophy. So lots of cricket for everyone. I will introduce you to all the team managers in a future communication.
Details of all our senior and junior teams fixtures and results can be found on the excellent play-cricket website and app
This is my first season as Youth Chairman and I intend to provide you with more updates about the club as the new season approaches and as we progress through the season. My email address is simonh_shenfieldcc@outlook.com – please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about the club.
Finally, all of our thanks go to Matt Pryor my predecessor as Youth Chairman who has done a fantastic job over the previous five years developing the Junior Section of Shenfield CC. Thank you Matt.
