One of our Own

The Loss of one of our Own

This morning we woke up to the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of our own Neal Gilbert.

From my re-introduction back into 4th team Cricket in 2021 up to the present day, Neal has always been stood beside me offering his guidance and keeping the run-rate down.

Neal was not only a fantastic cricketer but also an outstanding man. He loved Saturdays at the cricket club regardless of who he was playing with and always sort to make an impact on and off the pitch. He was particularly happy when his family came to watch him play and he usually put on a show!

He will be dearly missed by all at the club and particularly by me.

We love you Neal.
